TL;DR
Summary
- The app has no telemetry and no account. We don't know you installed it.
- Your layouts, profiles, sessions, and window positions stay on your Mac.
- MacZones checks for updates over the network. That check unavoidably exposes your IP address and current version to our update server. We don't link those logs to a person and we discard them on a rolling basis.
- If you buy a license, our payment processor sees what they need to take a payment. We see an email, a license key, and the country on the receipt — nothing more.
- Crash reports are off by default. If you turn them on, they contain a stack trace and macOS version, never window contents.
- If you email us, we keep the email so we can reply to it.
